Triumph Kilmartin won three events, the high jump, long jump and triple jump, and Ashlyn Noce captured the 1,600- and 3,200-meter runs to help Altoona's girls track and field team defeat State College, 90-60, and Mifflin County, 134-16, at Mansion Park Tuesday.
The Lady Lions improved to 4-0. The boys team fell to State College, 94-56, but topped Mifflin County, 98-52.

Central falls
DuBOIS -- DuBois swept Central, 25-7, 25-15, 25-9, despite nine assists from the Scarlet Dragons' Logan Hummel in high school boys volleyball.
Christian Heuston added four kills, and R.J. Daugherty had two kills and a pair of blocks for Central, which fell to 1-2.

Altoona beaten
MECHANICSBURG -- Sam Kessinger had 17 assists, 15 digs and six service points, but Altoona was swept by Cumberland Valley, 25-21, 25-15, 25-18, in high school boys volleyball.
Nino Yohn added 10 digs and three assists. Caleb Fries had seven kills, a block and six digs for the Mountain Lions, and Noah Fries had five kills and four digs.
