Panthers cruise to victory
CRESSON -- Caden Gibbons, Mason Mento and Ayden Himmer smacked two hits and knocked in two runs apiece in leading Penn Cambria to a 13-3 five-inning win over Westmont Hilltop.

Pirates pull away late
ALEXANDRIA -- Williamsburg and Juniata Valley were tied at 4-4 after seven innings of play, but the Blue Pirates put up three runs in the top of the ninth while holding the Green Hornets to just one in a 7-5 nine inning victory.
Luke Uplinger tallied two hits and scored twice for Williamsburg, while Rowan Gorsuch drove home two runs and Nathan Keith crossed the plate twice.
Mason Buckley notched two RBIs for JV, while Kyler Spurlin and Konner Harbst smacked two hits each.

Altoona suspended
With Cedar Cliff leading Altoona, 4-3, in the bottom of the seventh inning, the contest was suspended due to a non-threatening medical situation involving an umpire at Mansion Park.
When play was stopped, the Mountain Lions had a runner on first base with one out. The game is scheduled to be completed on May 8 when Altoona visits Cedar Cliff.
Bearcats do enough for 'W'
TYRONE -- Tyrone out-hit Huntingdon, 8-6, but couldn't take advantage as the Golden Eagles dropped a 6-1 contest.

The Black Panthers, which were able to take advantage of five C-K errors, got four runs as a result of the miscues.

Marauders come up short
Bishop Guilfoyle held a two-run lead until Richland put up two in the fifth and the winning run in the top of the seventh in a 4-3 loss at Vets Field.
