BEDFORD -- Tyrone's Andrew Weaver won the boys outstanding jumper at the Bedford Giant Eagle Invitational in high school track and field on Saturday.
Weaver won the long jump in 20 feet, 7 inches.
Meyersdale's Tristan Ohler (runner) and Penns Manor's Alex Polemic (thrower) also won boys awards. Everett's Sara Shaffer (jumper), Somerset's Kamryn Ross (runner) and Richland's Sasha Garnett (thrower) won the outstanding performer awards on the girls side.
Richland's boys 400-meter relay team set a new meet record in 43.97, and Bedford's 1600-meter relay team set a new mark at 3:31.09. On the girls side, the Somerset girls broke the 400-meter relay meet record in 49.75, and Garnett broke the shot put mark with a throw of 44 feet, 8 inches.
Central, which won the boys team championship by 6.5 points over runner-up Richland, got a title from Robert Long-Yarrison in the 110-meter hurdles in 15.76 just ahead of runner-up A.J. Koontz of Bedford, who finished in 15.87. Koontz won the 300-meter hurdles in 41.35.
Tyrone's Aiden Detwiler won the 1600-meter run in 4:46.57 and was also part of the Golden Eagles' winning 3200-meter relay winning team.
On the girls side, Madison Kennedy won the javelin with a throw of 118-4 for Central, and the Lady Dragons got a win from Delaney Hall in the triple jump. Hall had a distance of 32-4.

Kuntz wins two events
ARMAGH -- Several area athletes brought home titles at the Bill Wilt Memorial United Invitational on Saturday.
Central Cambria's Dom Kuntz won the 1600-meter run in 4:50.07, more than eight seconds ahead of the runner-up, and then he won the 3200-meter run by nearly 18 seconds in 10:54.36.
Dom Micco won the discus for the Red Devils with a throw of 113 feet, and Christian Vasil captured the shot put title with a throw of 45 feet, 6 inches.
Kole Dickinson, of Bellwood-Antis, won the 300-meter hurdles in 42.17. The Blue Devils also won the 1600-meter relay in 3:46.61.
Northern Cambria's Michael Konitsky won the 100-, 200- and 400-meter dashes.
On the girls side, Morgan Brandis won the 3200-meter run for Central Cambria in 13:09.29, and Lola Taylor won the 300-meter hurdles in 50.21 seconds ahead of runner-up Chloe Stolzfus of Bellwood-Antis in 53.21.
B-A's Briley Campbell won the long jump with a distance of 14-9.5 ahead of teammate and runner-up Chloe Hammond's leap of 14-1. The Lady Blue Devils also got a win from Addalyn Turek in the triple jump. Turek had a distance of 31-3.
The Central Cambria 1600-meter relay and 3200-meter relay teams also won championships.

MECHANICSBURG -- The Altoona girls won five events at the 35th annual Pan-Ram Invitational hosted by Central Dauphin High School on Saturday.
Mary Stoltz won the 800 run in 2:22.46, Triumph Kilmartin won the high jump at 5-0, Ashlyn Noce won the 3200 run in 11:41.20, Hailey Kravetz won the 100 hurdles in 15.70, and the Lady Lions' 3200 relay team prevailed in 10:18.59.
Kilmartin was also third in the triple jump (35-0.25) and sixth in the long jump (14-11), Noce was second in the 1600 run (5:20.06), and Kravetz was second in the 300 hurdles (46.36).
Jill Long earned two second places for the Lady Lions in the long jump (15-10.5) and triple jump (35-1.5), Annalyse Yost was second in the javelin (121-3), Kihlee Noel placed second in the shot put (35-6), Kenzie Wilt was third in the high jump (4-10), and Alannah Irwin was fifth in the 300 hurdles (49.67) and sixth in the 100 hurdles (17.34).
The Altoona girls' 1600 relay placed third in 4:19.70, and the 400 relay was fourth in 51.82.
Xavier Williams won two events -- the long jump (20-4.75) and triple jump (44-8.5) -- for the Altoona boys and was third in the 100 dash (11.11).
Bron Mosley was second in the shot put (53-8.5), Nathan Lutz placed third in the pole vault (12-0), and Camdyn Woomer was fourth in the 1600 run (4:42.18). Altoona's 1600 relay was fourth in 3:38.78, the 400 relay was fifth in 44.93, and the 3200 relay also finished fifth in 8:40.79.
