ALEXANDRIA -- Bella Francona had three hits, including a double, and drove in six runs to lead Claysburg-Kimmel to a 15-0 win over Juniata Valley in high school softball on Saturday.
Jenna Helsel doubled and tripled and drove in two runs for the Lady Bulldogs, who improved to 8-0. Emalee Cavender drove in three runs, and Launa Musselman blanked the Lady Hornets from the circle while striking out two and walking three.

EBENSBURG -- Despite home runs from Keira Link and Olivia Janosik and a strong relief performance from Rowyn Ruddek in which she struck out seven of the last nine batters, Central Cambria couldn't complete its rally from an early hole in a 4-3 loss to Philipsburg-Osceola in a high school softball game on Saturday.
Alivia Bizzarri struck out 12 batters, and Emily Gustkey had three hits for the Lady Mounties.

Tigers unbeaten
BEDFORD -- Hollidaysburg swept the singles competition, getting wins from Ben Johnson, Garrett Bouchard and Michael Waibel, in its 4-1 triumph over Bedford in high school boys tennis on Saturday.
Alex Arbogast and Jacob Sidney also won at No. 2 doubles for the Golden Tigers. Jack Becker and Colin Gable secured the Bisons' lone point at No. 1 doubles.
Hollidaysburg improved to 15-0 while Bedford slipped to 8-2.

ELIZABETHTOWN -- Central's high school boys volleyball team finished 3-6 at the Bear Brawl at Elizabethtown High School on Saturday.
The Dragons fell to Penn Manor, 25-13, 25-18 and Hershey, 25-11, 25-20, split with Chambersburg, 25-23, 22-25, and defeated York City, 25-21, 25-23, before they fell to Elizabethtown, 25-21, in the first round of the playoffs.
Bryson Brooks and 19 kills, Christian Heuston had 17 kills and seven blocks and Hayden Smith had 13 blocks for Central. Logan Hummel added 34 assists, and Noah Grace had six aces on the day for the Dragons.
