Altoona tennis downed

BETHEL PARK -- The Altoona Area High School boys tennis team dropped a close one on Monday afternoon, falling 3-2 at Bethel Park.

The Mountain Lions, who dropped to 3-5, picked up a singles win from No. 2 Josh Adams, and the No. 1 doubles team of Aiden Aiken and Avery Lanzendorfer picked up a victory.

SINGLES: 1, Collier, BP, def. Mitchell, 6-2, 6-1; 2, Adams, A, def. Kambli, 6-2, 7-6 (7-5); 3, Maracic, BP, def. Sassano, 6-4, 6-1.

DOUBLES: 1, Aiken-Lanzendorfer, A, def. Pellis-Basile, 6-4, 6-3; 2, Klink-Yimin, BP, def. Chile-Whitaker, 6-2, 6-1.
