Tigers boys, girls triumph

Caden DeLattre won the long, triple and high jump for the Hollidaysburg boys track and field team in a 117.5-32.5 win over Penn Cambria on Thursday in high school action.

The Lady Tigers were also victorious, winning 117-33.

The Panthers were led by Josh Stolarski, who took first in the 100, 200 and 400.

On the girls side, Hollidaysburg got three wins each from Emily Clapper in the 400, long jump and triple jump. Penn Cambria was led by Kyra Vinglish in the shot put, discus and javelin. Teammate Chloe Karabinos won the 100 hurdles and 300 hurdles.

Sweep for B-A teams

BELLWOOD -- Bellwood-Antis' boys team improved to 4-1 with wins over Southern Huntingdon (113-37), West Branch (126-24) and Williamsburg (138-12).

The Lady Blue Devils also improved to 4-1 with victories over Southern Huntingdon (100-50), West Branch (127-23) and Williamsburg (144-6).

For the boys, Dalton Poorman won the long and triple jumps and the pole vault, while Gabe Thompson took the 100 and 200, and Kole Dickinson the 110 and 300 hurdles. On the girls side, Briley Campbell took the 100, 200 and long jump while Rylie Andrews captured the 800 and 3200.
