CLAYSBURG -- Winning pitcher Emalee Cavender struck out 11, walked none and had two hits as Claysburg-Kimmel defeated Glendale, 11-1, in six innings in high school softball action on Wednesday.
Jaylee Swindell drove in four runs and scored three, while Launa Musselman pushed across three for the Lady Bulldogs on three hits.

WILLIAMSBURG -- Williamsburg erupted for a 10-run second inning en route to a 13-1 five-inning victory over North Star.
MeCenzie Calderwood and Laney Prough tallied two hits and two RBIs for the Lady Blue Pirates, while winning pitcher Kara Lansberry struck out seven and drove in two runs.
Eleanor Brubaker and Katie Merrits also delivered two RBIs for Williamsburg.

BELLEFONTE -- Central put up 10 runs and had 10 hits, but it wasn't enough as Bellefonte erupted for 14 and 10 runs in the third and fourth innings of a 26-10 four-inning win over the Lady Dragons.
Bralyn Ellis had two hits and three RBIs for Central, while Alexis Fetzer totaled two hits and Riley Peterson knocked in two runs.
