Gavin Albright hit into a fielders choice that scored Eric McAllister with the winning run with one out in the bottom of the eighth inning in Altoona's 7-6 win over State College at Mansion Park Monday in high school baseball play.
McAllister who tossed three innings of relief to earn the win, had two hits and an RBI at the plate, while Tanner Stroup started the game and struck out eight, had a hit and two RBIs for the Mountain Lions.

Red Devils cruise
EBENSBURG -- Central Cambria needed just three innings to cruise past Bishop Carroll in a 17-0 victory.
The Red Devils, which scored nine in the first and eight in the second, got two hits and three RBIs from Joe Iacono.
Blake Coposky and Connor Serenko delivered two hits and knocked in two runs apiece for CC, while Treyton Jacobs, Logan Black and Brayden Blasko added two hits each.

Eagles clipped
