FLINTON - The Glendale wrestling team improved its record to 11-6 Wednesday night, thanks to a 51-19 win at home over Redbank Valley in high school action.
The Vikings got pins from Daniel Williams (285), Zach Vereshack (145), Connor Oshall (189) to go with a technical fall win from George Campbell (172).
Glendale also got help from four forfeit victories.

Valley triumphs
ALEXANDRIA - Juniata Valley outscored Bedford, 19-4, in the first quarter in a 70-42 win in high school girls basketball.
The Lady Hornets, who improved to 9-12, got 21 points from Maddie Hopsicker, who went 9-of-10 from the field with five steals and five assists. Teammate Anna Taylor led with 25 points and 13 rebounds.
Bedford (5-17) got 13 points from Kasey Shuke.
