The Altoona ice hockey team improved to 8-7 Tuesday night, thanks to a 6-3 win over Richland in high school play at Galactic Ice.
The Mountain Lions jumped on the Rams for four goals in the second period to break a 1-1 tie after one period.
Carter Panick led the Mountain Lions with two goals and an assist in a game that also featured goals from teammates Noah Staines, Hayden Hosgood, Chris Kozminski and Dominic Della.
Altoona goalie Seth Conrad finished with 30 saves while teammate Ricky Crum added two assists.
The Mountain Lions are off until they visit Johnstown on Feb. 15.
