EBENSBURG -- The Central Cambria ice hockey team defeated Altoona, 3-2, Tuesday night in a shootout during high school action at the Northern Cambria Recreation Center.
The game ended in regulation tied at 2-2. The Red Devils, who improved to 9-8, won the shootout. Altoona dropped to 10-8. No shootout total was reported.
Altoona got goals from Brady Sassano and Iain McHenry while Central Cambria got goals from Logan Holley and Benjamin Lundberg. Lundberg's game-tying goal came in the third period.
Altoona was out-shot, 31-29. Mountain Lion goalie Seth Conrad stopped 29 shots in regulation.
