Pirates hold on

Logan Brantner also reached double figures with 12 for the 11-3 Blue Pirates.
Davis Fleming and Parker Wood totaled 19 and 14 points respectively for the Golden Tide.

DUNCANSVILLE -- Blair County Christian jumped out to a 13-point lead at halftime and went on to defeat Huntingdon Calvary Christian 57-44 in boys basketball.
Micaiah Marucci fronted four Bobcats in double figures with 17 points, while Caedmon Dull tallied 14, Ealor Burket recorded 13 and Jonathan Marucci added 11.
Micah Lloyd and Tyrell Lapp led Calvary with 15 points each.

Glendale rallies
FLINTON -- Trailing by three heading into the fourth quarter, Glendale held Southern Huntingdon to just three points while recording 11 itself in a 46-41 come-from-behind victory.
Connor Potutschnig led the Vikings with 19 points, while Joey Kitko contributed 10.
Cohen Snyder was the lone Rocket to reach double figures with 13.

Comeback falls short
WATERFALL -- Northern Bedford put together a big fourth quarter but it wasn't enough to complete a comeback in a 52-48 loss to Forbes Road in boys basketball from Wednesday night.
