STATE COLLEGE -- The Hollidaysburg Area High School ice hockey team improved to 9-0 Thursday night, thanks to a 6-1 victory over State College at the Pegula Ice Rink on the Penn State University campus.
The Golden Tigers, who out-shot the Little Lions 45-19, got two goals in the second period, courtesy of Ty Burket and Ben Pfeilstucker, for a 2-0 lead.
Hollidaysburg scored four times in the third period, courtesy of goals from Burket, Pfeilstucker, Teaghan Smith and Carson Young.
Golden Tigers goalie Tyler Duey gave up just one goal and finished with 18 saves.
