Aunye Counsman, a member of the Altoona Area High School girls volleyball team, was recently named to the 2023 4A All-State volleyball team.
Counsman, a senior, was nominated by the Pennsylvania Volleyball Coaches Association.
A first-team Mid-Penn Conference first-team all-star, Counsman was the team leader in digs with 611 and she reached the 1,000 digs mark this past season.
A team captain in her junior and senior seasons, she finished her career with 145 service points, 35 aces,44 assists and a 2.14 serve receive passer rating on 729 attempts.
