Hollidaysburg's duo of Crosby Denis and Megan Ferris, the top seed, advanced to the finals of the District 4-6 Class 3A Girls Doubles Tennis Championships.
Denis and Ferris beat Altoona's Courtney Irwin and Bella Graham in the semifinals on Tuesday at Mansion Park, 6-2, 6-0, and will now face second-seeded Joanna Liu and Ephrasinia Shimelas of State College in today's noon final at Mansion.
Liu and Shimelas edged Hollidaysburg's Regan McKee and Grace Muriceak in the semifinals, 6-3, 2-6, 6-0.
Also at noon today at Mansion, Central's Julia Ritchey and Brooklyn Coppersmith will face Central Cambria's Lydia Paskowski and Allie Morgan in the District 6 2A doubles final.

Olivia Berish, Beth Buettner and Celina Hong won singles matches for Westmont.

Ridge frosh wins title
SOMERSET -- Chestnut Ridge freshman Haley Hundley captured the District 5 Class 2A singles tennis championship on Monday at Somerset Area High School.
Hundley defeated Bedford junior Sadie Livengood in the final, 6-1, 6-1. Ridge junior Jenna Mauck and Bedford sophomore Kasey Shuke both reached the semifinals.
