PORTAGE -- Trissa Smith recorded her 1,000th career assist for Portage in a 25-21, 25-16, 25-15 win over Conemaugh Valley. Smith also had 18 service points Thursday in high school volleyball.
"Trissa is a dedicated athlete who is always pushing herself to refine her skills," Portage coach Lauren Cordwell said. "She is a great leader on the court and always pushing her teammates to play their best."
Annie Davis added 11 kills and 11 digs, Brooke Bednarski had 11 assists and 11 digs and Paige Phillips had seven kills, five aces and 14 service points for the Lady Mustangs.

EBENSBURG -- Tyrone swept Central Cambria, 25-21, 25-16, 25-14, with the help of 12 kills, six aces and two blocks by Rylan Crowell.
Madelyn Rockwell added 19 assists, seven digs and four aces.
Erica Brouse finished with a team-high 14 service points and an ace for the Lady Devils, and Madelyn Brunatti added 11 service points.
