LOYSBURG -- The Northern Bedford County High School girls volleyball team improved its record to 10-2 by knocking off previously unbeaten Tussey Mountain, 25-23, 25-19, 25-10, Tuesday.
Madison Miller led Northern with nine kills and three blocks, Dani Imler had eight kills, Lindsey Bolinger recorded 17 assists, Lainie Sipes had 10 digs, and Halle Lingenfelter collected 13 service points.

Hollidaysburg's Emily Clapper reached 1,000 career assists during the match, Lucy Stanek delivered 15 digs, and Lexi McLanahan had 16 service points.

Junior Kylee Nelson had 24 digs, including the 1,000th of her career, and five kills, Rylan Crowell had 12 kills, Sarila Hensley had six kills, Abigail Anthony contributed 18 digs, Madelyn Rockwell recorded 25 assists and 11 digs, and Tiffanie Tuskovich added four kills and three blocks.
