SIDMAN -- In girls high school volleyball Thursday night, Hollidaysburg swept Forest Hills, 25-19, 25-12, 26-24, to advance to the Laurel Highlands Athletic Conference championship game against Philipsburg-Osceola, which swept Richland in the other semifinal.
The final will take place Saturday at P-O at 6 p.m. No statistics were reported to the Mirror.
Portage wins
PORTAGE -- Portage improved to 12-8 with a 25-15, 24-26, 25-16, 26-24 win over United.
Annie Davis led the Lady Mustangs with 11 kills and 14 digs to go with 12 kills from Paige Phillips and 28 digs from Jada Willinsky. Brooke Bednarski added 14 assists and 15 digs.
