Kravetz scores four in Altoona victory

Senior Hailey Kravetz scored four goals, and Altoona routed Mifflin County, 5-0, on senior night in high school girls soccer action at Mansion Park on Wednesday.

With the win, Altoona improved to 13-5 while Mifflin County dropped to 2-16.

Sophia O'Dea also scored for the Lady Lions, who had 14 shots on goal to Mifflin County's one.

PATTON -- Hannah Hite scored an unassisted goal in overtime to lift the Cambria Heights girls to a 2-1 victory over Forest Hills in a non-conference game.

Brooklyn Galinis' goal on a penalty kick had sent the game to overtime. Heights improved to 10-8-0.

LOYSBURG -- Senior Mariah Hall scored four goals and added two assists for Northern Bedford's girls in a 6-2 senior-night win over Moshannon Valley.

Kitt Reininger and Reaghan Grimes also scored goals for the Lady Panthers. Marley Reese scored both of Mo Valley's goals.

Lions win in OT

FISHERTOWN -- Preston Pittman scored off an assist by Cameron Claycomb nearly midway through the first overtime to give the Chestnut Ridge boys to a 2-1 victory over Penn Cambria.

Claycomb scored off a throw-in from Elias Ritchey to put the Lions on the board first just under five minutes into the match.

The Panthers' Andrew Dillon notched the lone goal for his team to tie the contest in the first half.

Ridge's Bronson Buchanan made 15 saves, while PC's Duncan Gongloff stopped 10 shots.
