Lions fall to Rangers
SIDMAN -- Chestnut Ridge scored the first two goals but then surrendered six straight in a 6-2 loss to Forest Hills.
Preston Pittman notched the opening goal on an assist from Elias Ritchey, while the Lions got their second on an own goal.
Hunter Adams and Kaden Carpenter registered two goals each for the Rangers with Toby Wilt and Jacob Singer adding one apiece. With the win, the Rangers improved to 11-3-1 while the Lions dropped to 3-12.

SPRING MILLS -- The Hollidaysburg boys got goals from Issac Jandora and Bryce Hollingshead in a 2-0 win at Penns Valley.

Lady Lions cruise
Hailey Kravetz scored five goals for Altoona, and Lia Sankey tallied a goal and three assists as Altoona blanked Bedford, 6-0, in high school girls soccer at Mansion Park on Wednesday night.
Aubrey Dietzel had eight saves in goal for her third consecutive shutout and sixth in the past seven games for Altoona (11-5).
Bedford dropped its record to 12-3.
