TYRONE -- Alex Brumbaugh's first-place finish in 19 minutes, 10 seconds led the Tyrone boys to a 23-33 win over Bellwood-Antis in high school cross country action on Wednesday.
Tyrone's Thomas Sutt and Sam McCloskey finished second and third, respectively.
Blake Pennington won the girls race and was followed by teammates Rylie Andrews and Peyton Hammond as the Lady Blue Devils downed Tyrone, 15-50.

Portage boys win 2
SOMERSET -- The Portage boys defeated Salisbury Elk-Lick, 20-35, and Somerset, 22-35, with the help of the third-place finish by Logan Gentile in 18:50.
The girls lost to Somerset, 20-35, with a runner-up finish by Alex Chobany in 20:55.
Kevin Myers of Chestnut Ridge won the boys race in 17:13, and Somerset's Emily Fisher won the girls race in 18:42.

CRESSON -- Bishop Carroll defeated Penn Cambria in both boys, 26-30, and girls, 17-38, cross country.
The Huskies got a runner-up performance from Maddox Laughard in 19:19, and Ava Pablic won the girls race in 20:19.
Penn Cambria's Josh Stolarski won the boys race in 18:41.
