INDIANA -- The Altoona Area High School boys soccer team improved to 12-3 with a 1-0 victory over Indiana on Monday.
Colin Etters scored the game's only goal early in the first half on an assist from Connor Adams. Luke Mitchell had the shutout in goal for the Lions.

Tigers beat BG
Luca Waibel was part of four goals in helping the Hollidaysburg boys down Bishop Guilfoyle, 6-1, at Tom Irwin Field.
Waibel scored one goal and assisted on three others. Owen Naugle and Caleb Tryninewski each scored two goals for the Golden Tigers, and Ben Johnson scored one.

Ridge wins late
FISHERTOWN -- The Chestnut Ridge boys broke a scoreless tie against Central Cambria with 70 seconds left in the match to capture a 1-0 victory in Laurel Highlands Athletic Conference action.
The Lions' Elias Ritchey chipped the ball over the Red Devil defense and found the foot of Preston Pittman, who beat the goalkeeper for the win.
Ridge keeper Bronson Buchanan stopped 11 shots to earn the shutout.
