TYRONE -- Isaac Miller, Keagan Hockey and Tyler Steiner of Hollidaysburg and Kreighoff Cumming of Altoona advanced through District 6 Class 3A high school boys golf sectionals at Sinking Valley Country Club on Tuesday.
Miller finished fifth overall with an 81, Cumming was seventh with an 84, Hockey was eighth with an 84 and Steiner was 10th with an 86 as the final qualifier.
Miller, Hockey, Mason Goodman (89) and Dominic Battisti (94) helped the Golden Tigers finish as the runners-up as a team to qualify for the District 6 championship along with State College, which won sectionals with a score of 312.
The Little Lions' Max Wager won sectional individual competition with a 73.

Tigers fifth
HOLLIDAYSBURG -- With much of its team playing in the District 6 Class 3A sectionals, Hollidaysburg finished fifth in a makeup Laurel Highlands Athletic Conference meet at Scotch Valley Country Club with a team score of 413.
The Golden Tigers were led by Jared Smith's 99.
Bald Eagle Area had the top score of 363 and got a medalist score of 85 from Kane Wolf.
Philipsburg-Osceola's Jake Lucas carded a 91.
