The top two seeds, Julia Ritchey of Central and Marley Ratchford of Central Cambria, advanced into the District 6 Class 2A individual girls tennis championship Monday at Mansion Park.
Ritchey and Ratchford will meet for the 2A title on Wednesday at noon back at Mansion Park. The two played a match last week with Ritchey coming out on top.
Lydia Paskoski, Ratchford's Central Cambria teammate, won two matches to make it to the semifinals before falling to Ritchey.
Central's Brooklyn Coppersmith won a Round of 16 matchup before falling in the quarterfinals.
The start of the Class 3A tennis will take place inside today at the Summit, beginning at 10 a.m.

Parker White returned a kickoff 70 yards for a score, and Jacob Kissell threw a touchdown pass and ran for another to lead Bishop Guilfoyle Catholic to a 28-6 win over Central at Mansion Park in junior varsity football on Monday.
