LILLY -- Both the Central Cambria boys and girls defeated three other opponents in a high school cross country meet at Lilly War Memorial Park on Wednesday.
The CC boys nipped Altoona, 28-29, and beat Bedford, 17-40, and Bellwood-Antis, 15-49. The Bedford boys topped Bellwood, 16-46. Evan George and Dom Kuntz led the Red Devils with a 1-2 finish, while Altoona took spots 4-6 with Camdyn Woomer, Chris Fox and Ryen Webster.
The CC girls chalked up victories over Altoona (18-41), Bedford (21-40) and Bellwood (15-48). The Bedford girls beat Bellwood, 24-32.
Abigail Sheehan, Alaina Sheehan and Keira Link placed second, third and fourth, respectively, for the Lady Red Devils, and Altoona's Ashlyn Noce was fifth. Bedford's Chloe May won the race.

JOHNSTOWN -- The Tyrone boys defeated host Richland, 21-34, but fell to Forest Hills, 22-33.
Tyrone's Aiden Detwiler finished second overall to Forest Hills' Tyler Caron.
The Tyrone girls fell to Richland, 15-50, and Forest Hills, 15-50. Richland's Natila Mavridis won the girls race in 21:07.

Portage gets two
PORTAGE -- Portage's Gabe Corte and Alex Chobany won the boys and girls races, respectively, in a triangular Heritage Conference meet.
The Portage boys topped River Valley, 18-41, and Homer-Center, 22-33, while the Homer-Center boys edged River Valley, 22-33. The Portage girls downed River Valley, 26-30, and Homer-Center, 15-45, while the River Valley girls beat Homer-Center, 16-47.

Heights teams win
PATTON -- The Cambria Heights boys topped Purchase Line, 20-37, and Penns Manor, 18-45, while the Heights girls won 15-48 over PM and 21-40 over PL.
Zoe Adams and Savannah Hoover led a 1-2 finish for the Heights girls, and Dan Hock and Joe Senko were second and third, respectively, in the boys race.
The PL boys topped PM, 19-36, and the PL girls won 21-34 over PM.
