WINGATE -- Hollidaysburg's girls cross country team topped Bald Eagle Area, 15-44, behind a first-place individual finish by Rylan Carney in 22:08 on Tuesday in high school action.
The Golden Tigers also won the boys competition, 20-43, with the help of runner-up Reuben Manfred, who finished in 20:49.

TENNIS
Tigers clinch top seed
MARTINSBURG -- Crosby Denis, Regan McKee and Megan Ferris won singles matches, and Nina Meadows and Grace Muriceak and CeCe Williams and Sarah Neatrour each won doubles matches as Hollidaysburg defeated Central, 5-0, in girls high school tennis.
With the victory, Hollidaysburg clinched the Laurel Highlands West Division and the No. 1 seed for the conference semifinal playoffs.

TYRONE -- Central Cambria swept Tyrone, 5-0, with singles wins by Marley Ratchford, Lydia Paskouski and Allie Morgan.
Liv Neinzeroth and Taryn Ream won at No. 1 doubles, and Anna Stock and Maddie Dietz won at No. 2 doubles for the Lady Devils.
