TYRONE -- The team of Ron Kustaborder, John Frederick, Bud Ratchford and Roger Lannen finished first in the Sinking Valley Country Club Gold Tees Tournament on Wednesday.
The team finished with a score of 139, which was three strokes better than the second-place team of Harry Gearhart, Lynn Perry, Ron Shaffer and Ed Jaskowak. Finishing third with a 144 were Mark Glunt, Wally Hoover, Ken Hostler and Bob Kelly.

HOLLIDAYSBURG -- Lynn Durbin, Dee Lowery and Sue Mielnik won the Sylvan Hills Ladies Golf Association Scramble on Tuesday.
In second place was the team of Donna Buck, Pam Ergler, Rosey McCoy and Brenda Flick, and finishing third were Bernie Mayancsik, Maddie Shea and Susan Welsh.
Terry Goldstein, Rodger Fair, Mark Thompson and Marty Long won the Butch Focht Senior Men's Tournament on Wednesday with a 33.
Dave Biseli, Andy Unger, Don Stubbs and Gary Zimmerman were second with a 34.
