Rylan Daugherty, sr., Central: Led Mirror Honor Roll with a throw of 181 feet in the javelin. … Finished ninth at the PIAA meet to just miss out on the medal stand. … Won District 6 championship with a throw of 175 feet, 11 inches. … Won the individual championship in the javelin with a throw of 177 feet, 4 inches at the Altoona Mountain Lion Classic and helped Central bring home the team title. … Won the javelin championship at the Bellwood Invitational. … Threw a career-best 181 feet in the javelin to win the Laurel Highlands Athletic Conference title at the LHAC meet.
