Hollidaysburg is guaranteed to have the District 4-6 Class 3A Boys Doubles Tennis champion after both of its teams advanced through the semifinals on Tuesday at Gorilla House.
Top-seeded Nathan Barton and Jadd Younes of Hollidaysburg will face unseeded Ben Johnson and Haddy Obeid, also of Hollidaysburg, in the final at 3:30 p.m. Thursday on the Hollidaysburg courts.
Barton and Younes beat Selinsgrove's Austin Imhoof and Mcalister Dafazio, 6-2, 6-2, in the first round, Altoona's Kadyn Carey and Brady Sassano, 6-0, 6-3, in the quarterfinals, and State College fourth-seeded Peter Novikov and Jerry Zhang in the semifinals, 6-2, 6-1.
Johnson and Obeid upset second-seeded Mark Sandow and Zemu Zhang of State College, 3-6, 6-2, 10-8, in the first round, Central Mountain's Joe McCluskey and Joe Caimi, 6-0, 6-0, in the quarterfinals, and third-seeded Luke Mitchell and Josh Adams of Altoona, 6-4, 7-6 (7-3), in the semifinals.

Trent Meyers and Brennen Freiwald led Altoona with three hits each with Meyers clubbing two two-run home runs with four RBIs.
