HOLLIDAYSBURG -- Sydney Shay had three hits and four RBIs, Maria Malone pitched four shutout innings and Hollidaysburg cruised past Altoona, 15-0, in a high school softball game on Saturday.
Abby Steiner added three hits, all doubles, and a pair of RBIs for Hollidaysburg, and Gracie Wilt tripled for the Lady Lions.
The Lady Tigers celebrated Sideline Cancer with a "I Can Classic" game. It was projected at the beginning of the night that Hollidaysburg would bring in around $4,000 for Sideline Cancer but by the end of the night, it was estimated to be around $6,000.

Eagles soar
TYRONE -- A.J. Coleman had a walk-off hit in the bottom of the seventh inning to lead Tyrone to a 4-3 win over Penns Valley after the Rams had tied the game in the top of the inning in high school baseball on Saturday.
Landon Hamer had three hits and drove in two runs, and winning pitcher Ross Gampe had two hits for the Golden Eagles.

PORTAGE -- Portage and Penn Cambria both went 1-1 on Saturday in a high school baseball tournament hosted by the Mustangs.
Penn Cambria, led by tournament MVP Derek Hite, topped Portage, 18-1, before losing to McKeesport, 20-18.
The Mustangs topped McKeesport, 6-3, in a game that Trae Kargo had two RBIs.
Hite had three hits, including a home run, and six RBIs against McKeesport and had a hit, scored a run and drove in another for the Panthers against Portage.
McKeesport players took home both skill prizes. Jamir Brown won the skill contest for fastest player, and Brady Boyle won a home run derby.
