HARRISBURG -- The Altoona boys volleyball team fell to 7-5 Thursday night, losing a hard-fought 25-14, 25-20, 20-25, 25-17 match to Central Dauphin high school action.
The Mountain Lions got 15 kills and six digs from Caleb Fries to go with eight kills from Landen Fisher, 10 digs and six service points from Garrett Baumgartner.
Teammate Sam Kessinger added 32 assists.

MARTINSBURG -- DuBois improved its record to 8-2 with a 25-9, 25-7, 25-14 victory over Central.
The Scarlet Dragons (0-13) celebrated senior night for Christian Heuston and Bryson Brooks. They both had five kills and five digs. Logan Hummel totaled 17 assists to go with five kills from Christian Cherry.
