Kamzik, CC blank Ridge

EBENSBURG -- Kami Kamzik fired a no-hitter, and Central Cambria improved its record to 17-0 with a 5-0 win over Chestnut Ridge in high school softball action on Wednesday.

Kamzik struck out 14 batters and walked just two. Jordan Krawcion, Aubrey Ruddek and Soph Blasko each hit solo homers for the Lady Devils.

Lynn leads Central

PHILIPSBURG -- Lacey Lynn threw a two-hitter with 12 strikeouts and also hit a two-run homer to help Central down Philipsburg-Osceola, 6-0.

Madison Kennedy had two hits, including the 100th of her career, Lexie Fetzer and Aubrey Rhodes each had two hits, and Kennedy Hoyt drove in two runs.

PC shuts out Carroll

EBENSBURG -- Ashley Galovich had three hits and drove in five runs to lead Penn Cambria to a 12-0 win in five innings over Bishop Carroll.

Winning pitcher Patty Wagner also had two hits and an RBI, while teammate Lily Sheehan collected three hits and two RBIs. Sophia Sabatin added two hits and an RBI.

Glendale rolls past Blacklick

NANTY GLO -- Riley Best and Madison Peterson combined to shut out Blacklick Valley, 16-0, in three innings.

The two combined for six strikeouts and two walks while giving up just three hits.

Best also had two hits and drove in three runs, while Peterson had three hits and scored three runs. Teammate Alyson Buterbaugh added two hits and three RBIs.

Kosicki leads Heights

Kosicki struck out two and walked no one as the Lady Highlanders improved to 14-4.

Hollidaysburg tops Clearfield

HOLLIDAYSBURG -- Olivia Vincent and Maria Malone each had three hits to lead Hollidaysburg to an 11-1 win over Clearfield in five innings.

Vincent also finished with three RBIs, while Malone was the winning pitcher. She struck out five, walked no one and gave up just two hits.

Vincent and Sydney Shay both homered for the Lady Tigers.

HARRISBURG -- Altoona got two hits and three RBIs from Skylar Reed and three hits from Grace Glasgow in a 13-11 loss at Cedar Cliff.

The Lady Lions, who led 9-6 going into the bottom of the third inning, also got two hits each from Kaya Sprankle and Ayanna Hartman.
