BELLEFONTE -- Hollidaysburg captured both the boys and girls titles in the Mountain League Track and Field Championships on Tuesday at Bellefonte Area High School.
Isaac Yarnell won the 100- and 200-meter dashes, and Caden DeLattre won the long jump and triple jump for the Hollidaysburg boys, who also got wins from Nathan Grabill in the high jump and Carter Belton-Ruiz in the javelin.
The Hollidaysburg girls swept all three relays, and Elizabeth Frazier (100 dash) and Aubree Waksmonski (400 dash) won individual events.
Reagan Irons won both the triple and high jumps for the Tyrone girls, who also received wins from Rebecca Lewis in the 200 dash and Rayann Walls in the discus.
The Tyrone boys' 400 relay also placed first.

Bedford wins title
SOMERSET -- The team of Tristen Ruffley and Hunter Beard won the District 5 boys tennis doubles title, thanks to a 6-3, 6-3 win over Giuseppe Castronava and Kai Petrosky of Somerset Tuesday.
Rufley and Bear beat Windber's Braydon Wojcik and Cayden Thompson in the semifinals (10-1) and Somerset's Ben Witt and Josiah Antram (10-2) to make it to the finals.
