LOYSBURG -- The Claysburg-Kimmel High School softball team placed three members on the Inter-County Conference South Division All-Stars.
Outfielder Emalee Cavender, infielder McKenzi Black and catcher Nevaeh Walter made the first team for Claysburg. Honorable mention picks included Claysburg's Bella Francona and Northern Bedford's Abby Kline.
Glendale outfielder Riley Best, infielder Alyssa Sinclair and pitcher Madison Peterson made the North Division first team. They were joined by Juniata Valley's Makenzie Coffman (OF), Taryn Stewart (INF) and Ava Allison (C).
Honorable mention North picks included Glendale's Ally Buterbaugh and Kaprice Cavalet, Juniata Valley's Braelyn Hall and Bellwood-Antis' Parker Martin and Lainey Quick.
In the North Division baseball all-stars, Bellwood-Antis' Josh Dorminy (OF) and Camden Swogger (C) made the first team, along with Williamsburg's Colton Verbonitz (OF) and Juniata Valley's Jacob Rodkey (OF). Glendale's Troy Misiura, JV's Connor Robinson and Williamsburg's Luke Uplinger were honorable mention picks.
Northern Bedford outfielder Cullen Lloyd was a South Division baseball first-teamer, and honorable mention picks included Northern's Reece Musselman and Claysburg-Kimmel's Aiden Simpson.
In boys track and field, Bellwood was represented by Kole Dickinson (110-meter hurdles) and Eli Pluebell (shot put). Others included Northern Bedford's Noah Pittman (high jump) and Juniata Valley's Bryce Weirich (pole vault). Everett's Maylin Gunby was the leading scorer, followed by Sage Carr of West Branch and Dylan Andrews of Bellwood.
In girls track and field, Bellwood-Antis boasted first-teamers Rylie Andrews (800 run), Alexis Lovrich (3200 run), Lydia Worthing (pole vault), Chelsea McCaulsky (javelin) and the 400 relay team of Worthing, Briley Campbell, Brielle Campbell and Chloe Hammond.
Northern Bedford had three athletes -- Lizzy Long (shot put and discus), Julia Helsel (high jump) and Savanna Hershberger (1600 run), and Juniata Valley had four -- Maddie Hopsicker (100 dash), Addie Brower (200 dash), Eve McCrum (800 run) and Ellie Manyara (triple jump).
Southern Huntingdon's Emma McMath was the top girls scorer, followed by Lovrich and Everett's Sara Shaffer.
