Aidan Simpson was the hard-luck loser for the Bulldogs with seven strikeouts and just one walk.
n Selinsgrove topped Portage, 13-3, in the semifinals of the Curve Invitational at PNG Field, despite two hits each from the Mustangs' Easton Slanoc, Mason Kargo and Isaac Jubina.
