HOLLIDAYSBURG -- Maria Malone held Philipsburg-Osceola to just one run and struck out six to lead the Lady Tigers to a 4-1 victory over the Lady Mounties Thursday afternoon in high school softball play.

Madison Alexy doubled and drove in a pair of runs for Hollidaysburg, which improved to 2-1. The Lady Mounties, who did not score until the seventh inning, fell to 2-2.
