Lady Blue Devils get first victory since 2021 season

BELLWOOD -- The Bellwood-Antis High School softball team won its first game since the 2021 season in an 8-4 win over Williamsburg on Tuesday.

Ashlyn Snyder threw a complete-game six-hitter for the Lady Blue Devils and gave up just two earned runs.

London McKee and Lainey Quick each delivered two hits and two RBIs, Parker Martin and Hannah Waite each had two hits, and Rowan Kyle drove in two runs.

Billy Harnish had two hits for Williamsburg, and Eleanor Brubaker drove in two runs.

MOUNT UNION -- Glendale jumped out to a 13-0 lead and held on for a 13-12 win over Mount Union.

WATERFALL -- Northern Bedford chased down Forbes Road in Waterfall by scoring four runs in the top of the seventh inning and then holding on for an 8-6 win.

Lacy McIlnay was 3-for-3, Olivia Walter was 2-for-2 with a double and Lindsey Bolinger added a solo home run for the Lady Panthers.
