WILLIAMSBURG -- Freshman Preston Long hit a walk-off solo home run in the bottom of the seventh inning to lift Williamsburg to a 6-5 win over West Branch Tuesday in high school baseball play.
Alex Brantner and Sam Parks each drove in two runs for the Blue Pirates, and Rowan Gorsuch threw four innings of one-hit ball.

Glendale rallies
HOUTZDALE -- Glendale scored three runs in the top of the seventh inning to spoil a solid outing from Moshannon Valley's Zach Witherow, who also had two hits and drove in the Black Knights' run, during the Vikings' 3-1 victory.
Bryson Davis had two hits and drove in two runs for Glendale, and Troy Misiura struck out 12 batters, didn't allow an earned run and walked just one in six innings of work for the Vikings.

Altoona downed

Landon Eichhorn pitched five innings for the win and Xavier Smith drove in two runs for Mifflin County.
Trent Meyers and Connor Lindsey both collected two hits for Altoona with Lindsey belting a solo home run in the sixth inning.
