Miller wins it for Central

Skyler Miller scored with 7:45 to go in the game Tuesday night to lead the undefeated Central High School girls soccer team to a 3-2 win over Bishop Guilfoyle Catholic at Tom Irwin Field.

Miller, a senior defender, scored her first goal of her career.

The Lady Dragons -- who remained perfect at 12-0 -- also got goals from Ella Garner and Carli Hart in a game in which all five goals came in the second half.

BG (7-5) got both goals from Lainey Farabaugh.

LOYSBURG -- Abby Kline scored four times, and Reagan Grimes added two goals as the Northern Bedford girls routed Fannett-Metal, 8-0.

Miranda Clark registered the shutout in goal.

Tigers dominate

HOLLIDAYSBURG -- The Hollidaysburg boys celebrated senior night with a 7-0 victory over Clearfield.

Eric Arbogast scored three goals for the Golden Tigers, Derek Desort scored two goals, Nate Crum contributed a goal and an assist, Luca Waibel scored a goal, and Caleb Tryninewski assisted on two goals.

Keeper EJ Hickton made one save and recorded the shutout.

Seniors honored were Arbogast, Crum, Desort, Jadd Younes, Haddy Obeid, Jack Naugle, Spencer DelGiudice and Nate Barton.

LOYSBURG -- The Northern Bedford boys topped Fannett-Metal, 5-1, after losing to F-M earlier this season.

Collin Yeatts had a hat trick and two assists, and Evan Coffey added two goals.

BEDFORD -- The Penn Cambria boys got solo goals from Austin Wheeler and Andrew Dillon in an 11-2 loss at Bedford on Monday night.

Jacob Zunich added an assist for the Panthers.

The Bisons got two goals from Cole Taylor and three assists and a goal from Chase Bussard.
