BELLWOOD -- The Bellwood-Antis school board approved Adam Plummer as its new varsity baseball coach Tuesday night.
Plummer takes over for Steve Conlon, who led the Blue Devils for the past 20 seasons and won a PIAA Class 1A championship in his first season as the B-A coach in 2003 with the help of Plummer who was on the team.
Plummer pitched a two-hitter to lead Bellwood-Antis past Elk Lake, 2-1, in Harrisburg.
Plummer also drove in a run with an RBI single in the game.
