The Hollidaysburg boys track and field team placed 10 athletes on the 2022 Mountain League All-Star team this week.
The Golden Tigers were represented by Caden DeLattre, who made it in the long jump and the triple jump. Joining him was the 3200 relay team (Ben Love, Chris Love, Max Pohar and Jake Clapper, as well as the 1600 relay team (Ryan Frank, Drew Wyland, Jake Clapper and Isaac Yarnell. In the throws, Vincent Franco made it for the discus.
Tyrone's Keegan Gwinn made it in the javelin, while teammate Adam Detwiler was named for the 800 run.
Second-teamers for Hollidaysburg included Frank (100 & 200), the 400 relay team of Frank, Dilan Wasney, Parker Zonts, Chase Fox, Wasney in the triple jump and Derek Wright (pole vault). Tyrone's Andrew Weaver (high jump) and the 3200 relay team of Adam Detwiler, Aiden Detwiler, Colton Fink and Rory Quigley) were also named.
On the girls side, Hollidaysburg had seven Lady Tigers make the first team. The 3200 relay team of Aubree Waksmonski, Alli Burk, Lily Clayton and Seddy Clapper made it, as did the 1600 relay team of Waksmonski, Burk, Clapper and Sophia Moyer. Marin Miller made it in the 100, while Moyer did so in the 400. Pole vaulter Jenna Wilt was named to the team.
Tyrone's first-teamers included the 400 relay team of Eva Toth, Mackenzie Latchford, Natalie Saltsgiver and Reagan Irons. Latchford also made it in the 200 while Irons made it in the high jump.
Second-teamers for Hollidaysburg included Clapper (800), Miller (200), Aubrie Sipes (shot put), Emily Bumberger (discus), Emma Parnell (triple jump) and Lily Jodon (high jump). Tyrone's list included Latchford (100 & long jump) and Rebecca Lewis (400).
