CLAYSBURG -- Sierra Walters limited Southern Huntingdon to just one run and drove in one herself as the Claysburg-Kimmel Lady Bulldogs won 3-1 despite having only two hits in high school softball action on Thursday.
The Lady Bulldogs also beat the Lady Rockets in the District 6 postseason last year.

MORRISDALE -- Kara Lansberry doubled, tripled and drove in two runs to lead a Williamsburg rally past West Branch, 6-4.

Ellis has big inning
MARTINSBURG -- Central, behind Bralyn Ellis, scored 13 runs in the first inning and went on to beat Bedford, 18-1, in three innings on senior day.
Ellis hit both a grand slam and three-run homer in the first inning and finished the game with three hits and eight RBIs.
Senior Madison Daugherty earned the win, Taylor Stock recorded three hits and scored two runs, Madison Kennedy had three RBIs and scored twice, Maya Hazenstab contributed three runs and three stolen bases, and Alexis Saver drove in two runs.
The Lady Dragons improved to 12-1.
