EBENSBURG -- Jordyn Burkett belted a home run, double and drove in three runs in Central Cambria's 5-1 win over Somerset in high school softball action on Tuesday.

Mia Ruddek fired a three-hitter with eight strikeouts for the Lady Red Devils, who improved to 12-2.

Portage romps

Tyrone loses by one

BELLEFONTE -- Bellefonte scored twice in the bottom of the sixth to beat Tyrone, 10-9.

The Lady Eagles, who fell to 7-5, got four hits and three RBIs from Maci Brodzina to go with three hits and two RBIs from Maci Tuskovich. Beth Pearson added two hits. One of Brodzina's hits was a home run.

Lady Tigers fall

CLEARFIELD -- Clearfield scored seven runs in the fourth inning en route to 9-3 win over Hollidaysburg.

The Lady Tigers (5-8) got two hits each from Olivia Vincent and Abby Steiner. Alexis Peacock added two RBIs.
