Lady Dragons’ bats explode

SOMERSET -- Central scored 17 runs in the first three innings of its 17-0 win at Somerset in high school softball Thursday.

Taylor Stock had three doubles and four RBIs, while teammate Bralyn Ellis added three hits and three RBIs as the Lady Dragons improved to 8-1.

FLINTON -- Hannah Noel pitched a no-hitter Thursday afternoon in leading Glendale to a 9-0 win over Curwensville.

Noel struck out 10 and walked just one.

Offensively, Riley Best and Madison Peterson homered. Best finished with three hits and scored three ruces. Teammate Kaprice Cavalet added two hits and two RBIs.
