Why I picked Queens College: "I've always wanted to go to the city, and meet new people by going to a larger school. However, most of the larger schools happen to be Division I. I knew that I was capable of going Division II with the right mindset, dedication and guidance. Queens College is the perfect mix of what I wanted. It has around 18,000 people enrolled, it is Division II, it has my major media studies), and lastly, it's in NYC."

What getting to play in college means to me: "Getting the opportunity to play in college means a lot to me. It's something a lot of people don't get the opportunity to do. It is almost like reassurance that I've finally reached the point that I've been striving for since I was 12. I was fortunate enough that I had parents to take me to back-to-back tournaments, and supported me through this journey. I can't imagine my life without volleyball in it, and I'm so happy that it will be a part of my life for another four years. Although it does mean that I have to become stronger, mentally and physically, it's a whole new game at this level.''
