Mountain Lions defeat rivals

Led by Aidan Kelley and Reese Wilber, the Altoona Area High School cross country teams swept Hollidaysburg on the Logan Elementary School course on Tuesday.
Kelley won the boys race in 16 minutes, 58 seconds to finish ahead of Hollidaysburg’s Chris Love (17:12) and Ben Love (17:19) in the Mountain Lions’ 23-36 victory.
Wilber won the girls race in 20:17 and was followed by teammates Mackenzie Kelley (21:35), Josie Ciccarella (21:59) and Mary Stoltz (22:27) in the Lady Lions’ 16-47 win.
