CLEARFIELD -- Hollidaysburg's Wes Eberhart tied Huntingdon's Ryan Marshall for medalist honors with an 81 at the first Mountain League match of the season in Clearfield on Thursday in high school boys golf action.
The Golden Tigers went 5-1 on the day, with their only loss to Bellefonte, which finished three strokes ahead of Hollidaysburg, 356-359.
R.J. Royer led Tyrone, which finished fourth, with an 84, and Luke Brooks carded an 88. Derek Clapper and Trent Gallagher each recorded a 92 for the Golden Tigers.
Andon Suchan had an 89 for the fifth-place Bearcats, and Oliver Harpster led Philipsburg-Osceola with a 93.
Moshannon Valley's Alex Leskovansky played as an individual competitor whose scores didn't count toward the Mountain League scoring and shot an 82.
