Two Blair County star wrestlers won't be competing in the District 6 Class 2A Section 1 Tournament at Huntingdon High School today.
Bellwood-Antis senior and returning Southwest Regional fourth-placer Alex Taylor, who was 9-0 at 172 pounds, will miss the postseason because he's under concussion protocol until March.
Tyrone senior Alex Weaver, who was 4-4 at 215, has been ruled ineligible for the postseason. Weaver placed eighth at the Southwest Regional Tournament last season.
Also, the entire Moshannon Valley wrestling team didn't enter the postseason because of COVID-19 issues.
Frank, Boytim tie
Buck Frank and Mike Boytim have finished in a first-place tie in the overall standings for the Mirror's 2020 Fearless Football contest.
Both Frank and Boytim carded overall records of 321-141-1 for the season's combined NFL, college and high school games.
Frank was 179-107-1 in the NFL/college forecast and 142-34 in the high school forecast, in which he also finished in first place.
Boytim had a 183-103-1 record in the NFL/college forecast and a 138-38 mark in the high school forecast, in which he finished in second place.
Neil Rudel was the winner of the NFL/college forecast with a record of 188-98-1.

NORTH BOSTON, N.Y. - The Penn State Altoona women's bowling team was picked to finish in seventh place in the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference this season, as the league released the results of its annual Preseason Coaches' Poll recently.
Mount Aloysius was third behind Medaille and Saint Vincent.
