Curve revisiting ’99

The Altoona Curve announced their season-long Throwback Thursday promotion, featuring 1999 Curve jerseys and caps to be worn for every Thursday home game in 2016.

The Curve’s recently retired mascot and current Chief Fun Officer, Steamer, will also be on hand for most Throwback Thursdays.

“What better way to do a Throwback Thursday than to bring back the originals,” Curve general manager Rob Egan said. “The 1999-style jerseys and caps and the antics of the franchise’s first mascot will help fans harken back to our inaugural year.”
