Right-hander Luis Ortiz earned the organization’s Manny Sanguillen Teammates-of-the-Year Award, sharing the honor with infielder Luis Gonzalez. The Associated Press LAS VEGAS — As soon as general managers started arriving in Las Vegas for their annual meetings, Major League Baseball set some odds — for its first amateur draft lottery. Curve set times, fireworks for 2023

The Altoona Curve, Double-A affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates, announced their home game times and fireworks dates for the 2023 season. The season will again feature 6 p.m. start times for many of the team’s games at Peoples Natural Gas Field with 18 fireworks shows sprinkled in throughout the 25th season of Curve baseball.
